LINDA CHUBINSKI (KRUSHEL) July 17, 1949 - January 11, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Linda Chubinski. Linda died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 11, 2016. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Brandie (Danny) and Correna (Tim), her grandchildren Rylan and Mya and her husband David Chubinski. She is also survived by her brothers Herb, Irvin and Ron (Susan). She was predeceased by her parents Susan and Herman Krushel. Linda was a very caring and compassionate person who always put others needs before her own. She would be the first person to lend a hand and lived an extremely selfless life. Mom loved spending time outside, going for picnics, being at the beach and taking care of her flowers. She was a wonderful cook that loved to entertain and hosted countless family gatherings. Linda's passion for being a mother only grew stronger when she became a very proud and loving grandma. We would like to give special thanks to the kind doctors, nurses and staff from B4 at St. Boniface Hospital. We would also like to express our love and gratitude to Lin (Mom's hospital roomie) who became a wonderfully unexpected advocate and best friend to our mom while providing constant support and encouragement for our entire family. Linda showed amazing courage and strength during her battle with Cancer. Her love and spirit will continue to shine on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family ash interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
