Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDEVON LEE-ANN KUNTZ October 29, 1977 - January 17, 2016 Last week we said goodbye to Devon, an amazing daughter, a thoughtful, loving sister, a super fun cousin and friend; a delightful niece and granddaughter; and to her Mom, the most loving and blessing-filled daughter a mother could ever have, the Apple of her eye. Devon is survived by her mother Heidi Werschler and husband Rob Young; her brother Brett Kuntz; stepsisters, Sharon Young (son Callum, partner Dan Huyghebaert), Joanne Young (Peter Gray, son Tom); father Danny Kuntz and wife Irene; younger siblings, Brandi and Braxton Kuntz. She is also survived by grandparents, Doug and Joan Powles, George and Diane Kuntz, David O'Brien family and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and friends! All of us have been so very blessed to have Devon in our lives; knowing she is struggle-free and now at peace in heaven with her Grandma and Grampa, Milton and Susan Werschler. May we celebrate Devon today and always. Let us enjoy her for who she was for each one of us, and how knowing her has changed our lives for the better. Devon's memorial service will take place Tuesday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg, This obituary may also be viewed at www.friendsfs.ca.

My deepest condolences to all family and friends of Devon. She was always an amazingly positive and fun person. She was unbelievably outgoing and had an unparalleled lust for life. Devon and I worked together and enjoyed sky diving in our wild days of youth. I will always remember her. My thoughts and prayers remain with Devon and family. - Posted by: Ravinder Lidder (Friend and former co-worker) on: Jan 28, 2016

My sincere sympathy Heidi in the loss of your dear daughter. Although we do not know one another that closely I want you to know I try to keep in touch by Ray or Gary with the rest of the Werschler family. I am the oldest of all the Werschler cousins. Your dad spent a lot of time at our place in Virden with my dad George and our family when he was working as did uncle Rick. Just wanted you to know that as a mother I can only imagine the pain you must have right now. Your girl Devon sounds like she was a wonderful daughter and friend of all. I trust she is at peace now. Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. Sharon Taylor - Posted by: Sharon (Werschler) Taylor and husband Ted (Cousin of Heidi) on: Jan 24, 2016

Devon and I lived in the same apartment block. When I would see her in the elevator she would always compliment me on what I was wearing. She brought a smile to my lips. One time when the ambulance had to take me to the hospital as I was being taken by stretcher I could see Devon and her friend Carrie waving at me. That made me feel very good. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to the friends and family. - Posted by: Ricki Segal (neighbor) on: Jan 23, 2016
