EMILY POPOWICH Emily Popowich peacefully passed away on January 23, 2016 at the St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by her family at the age of 75 years. She leaves to mourn her daughter Crystal Dunn; sisters Bertha Ezako, Lorna Popowich and Margaret (Drago) Smilovic; brother-in-law Ed Kszywiecki, her spoiled companion Jipsie and her grand-dog Charlie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Pauline Popowich; brothers, John, Gordon, Leo and Danny; sister Anna; brother-in-law John Ezako and niece Kerry. Emily was a quiet, gentle person. She had a lifelong career at JC Foods until she retired ten years ago. She loved spoiling her dog Jipsie with cookies and other treats. She will be missed by all who knew her. At her request, a private family graveside service was held at All Saints Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in her memory to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Kidney Foundation. Rest in Peace Mom Vichnaya Pamyat Korban Funeral Chapel 204-956-2193
