DONALD E. WOZNIAK With his family by his side, Don left us peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2016; his birthday. Don is survived by his wife Terry Kolodaychuk, his sons Tyler (Kim), Ryan (Ashley) and Aaron (Brianna), his grandchildren Jeremy, Emily, Hannah and Madelyn, brother Terry (Kim) and Tom (Ann), sister-in-law Michelle (Glenn), his mother Anne, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Edward. Don was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, graduated from Sisler High School, and obtained his Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. The majority of his career was spent with the provincial government, first at the Queen's Printer office, and then at Travel Manitoba as Advertising Manager. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and curling in his younger years, and then loved any vacation that was all-inclusive in his retirement years. His love for the outdoors though never wavered. Upon retirement, he began his favourite role SUPER Grandpa. His grandchildren meant the world to him, and he spent many hours watching them at their various activities. He also enjoyed his travels in the winter months to Huatulco, Las Vegas, Aruba and Arizona with family and friends. The family is grateful for the compassionate care and support Don received at Cancer Care Manitoba and Riverview Health Centre. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 5 at 2:30 pm at Larters at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club, 30 River Road, Saint Andrews, MB, R1A 2V1. There will be an opportunity to share your stories about Don at that time if you'd like. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba in Don's memory.

Heartfelt condolences to Terry and the family. Although I haven't seen Don for several years -- I certainly remember him as a very professional and caring person. Also - someone with a very sharp sense of humor and wit. Like many people these days -- Don has left far too soon. My sincere sympathies. - Posted by: Dwight MacAulay (former co-worker) on: Feb 08, 2016

I remember well, as a little girl, the summers visiting at the cottage in Grand Beach. Sometimes, when we came for a visit on a Sunday, my Mom and Dad would let me stay for the week. I particularly recall how well Uncle Ed and Donny would take care of me and keep me amused!! Many young guys wouldn't be happy about having a pesky little girl cousin tagging around for a week ... but Donny didn't mind and like Uncle Ed, he always made me laugh! Good memories... thanks cuz! My sincere condolences to all Donny's family. - Posted by: Susan Harvey-Bingham (Wozniak) (Cousin) on: Feb 07, 2016

I worked with Don at Queen's Printer until it was shut down. We also curled together at Fort Garry and camped and partied many times. He was a fun guy! He will be deeply missed. " And flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest!" - Posted by: Joe Stetch (Friend, coworker ) on: Feb 03, 2016

Truly shocked at hearing of Don's passing. My sincerest condolences to you Terry and all the Wozniak family. Far too young. There are so many stories to share from way back when. All good fun years of curling and coffee break chats that usually went on too long, that's why you always invited the boss to join you. Don't think he ever figured that one out. Heartfelt sympathy from our house to yours. - Posted by: Pat Stadelmeier (Collegue) on: Feb 03, 2016

Dear Terry and family. So sorry to hear of Don's passing. My sincere sympathies to all of you. It was great to see both of you, at Karen and Gary's last November. Despite his illness, Don had a great spirit and it was always a pleasure to see the two of you at the dinner theatre in Ste. Agathe! You were such a great audience. We go back many years and we have shared a lot of laughter and great memories. I will cherish and treasure those memories forever. He will be dearly missed.
