ADELE (DOLLY) PEACHELL Peacefully on January 30, 2016, at the age of 94, our dear mother and grandmother passed away after a very brief illness. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Audrey (Lorne); sons Allen and James; daughter-in-law Carolyn; grandchildren Lisa, Jason, John and Jill; and great-grandchildren Austin, Kennedy, Lucas, Xander, Reagan, Sam, Jessica, Bodie and Zack. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1987, and son Larry in 2013. Dolly was a spirited soul whose endearing qualities will be cherished by all who knew her. Sincere gratitude to the staff at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for taking such loving care of Mom for the past 10 years. A family graveside service was held on February 3, 2016.

Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • So sorry to read this Jim.. Hope you are doing well.. - Posted by: Victor Spigelman (Childhood Friend) on: May 14, 2016

  • I used to visit Dolly with my Whippet Cody, & she loved to wait for his visits, & he always was happy to see her & her secret drawer of treats. She would not let me give him my treats, it had to be hers. Because of illness in the family I have not been there for quite a while, but I will cherish our visits with her. - Posted by: Jo-Anne Kullman & Cody (Therapy visit) on: Feb 11, 2016

  • Audrey, Lorne, Carolyn and families our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear mom, mother in law and grandmother. Our prayers are with you all. - Posted by: Carol & Glenn Chudley (Friend) on: Feb 10, 2016

  • I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I felt bad that I had not been in contact with her recently, but sadly, she no longer remembered who I was. She was a wonderful person and I enjoyed watching her and my dad joke with each other. May your many happy memories bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead.
