STANLEY ALEXANDER DIDKOWSKI
Born: Aug 23, 1929
Date of Passing: Jan 30, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY ALEXANDER DIDKOWSKI August 23, 1929 - January 30, 2016 After a short and courageous battle with lung cancer, dad passed away peacefully with family by his side. Stubborn in his usual way, he resisted valiantly through to the end. Dad has been cremated. A longer obituary and a celebration of dad's life with interment to take place at a later date. On behalf of my dad and our family, I would like to thank my wonderful friends and colleagues of Seven Oaks ER, as well as, Dr. Dalling, Stacey Boehm PCTM and the great team of staff on 5U4 family medicine. Everyone showed great compassion and respect in their care and treatment of dad and our family. We'd also like to thank those who were able to take time out to come and visit with dad during his last weeks. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

I have known Stan since my children, Ryan and Lisa attended R.F. Morrison. We developed a wonderful friendship. I was a hotdog Mom and spent a lot of time at the school. He was a great administrator. We always kept in touch, Stan & Marylou attended our Daughter's wedding and he would come to my office for visits. He will be missed! - Posted by: Pat Shymko (Friends) on: Feb 22, 2016

I first met Stan when he was my administrator at R.F. Morrison School. Later, we became very close friends when we built our cottage across the road from Stan and Marylou. He was always there to lend a helping hand without even asking. We shared many dinners, Thanksgivings, and "happy hours" together at the lake. They were so kind and loving when Ivanka would want to go and spend time with Vooyko Stan and Chocha Lou. We will always treasure the memories and feel blessed for the friendship that we shared. We will miss you. - Posted by: Bohdan, Irene, and Ivanka Waplak (Friend) on: Feb 10, 2016

Stan was my teacher at J.B. Mitchell when that school opened almost 60 yrs. ago. He was terrific and had a wonderful relationship with his students. Interestingly he's one teacher about whom several of my friends and I still fondly reminisce (probably the only one from Junior High). Looking back it's hard to realize that he was probably only in his 20s at the time. He was so loved and respected at such a young age and made such a phenomenal impression on us and I'm sure many many others through the years. I recall us students pulling pranks and even calling him "Stan" which he took in good humor, one reason he was so liked. He was a terrific teacher, I think probably the best I ever had. I owe him a lot. I don't recall many teachers but He was truly memorable. Sad to see he's passed but he has indeed left an awesome legacy. Deepest condolences to his family - Posted by: Arnold Zeal, MD (Former Student) on: Feb 10, 2016

Remember Stan as my home room teacher at J B Mitchell School. A wonderful teacher and human being whom I certainly remember from almost 60 years ago. Had a chance to meet him again in 1966 when he was teaching in Garden City and I was at my first job as a graduate Pharmacist. I am sure over the years he has made an impression on many students lives was he did on mine. - Posted by: Lyle Silverman (Student) on: Feb 06, 2016
