  • Sending my condolences to Ted and Edith's daughter and family. I met Edith 8 years ago in Physio Therapy after we had our knee replacements. We started having coffee after physio and we became very good friends. There was 5 of us that had our knees replaced, and we all just became very good friends. After we finished physio we decided to meet for lunch at the casino for our birthdays. And every month we would all meet for breakfast. Finding friends in our older age is very uncommon, but we did. We became everlasting friends. We were called The Cane Club. We had lunch at the casino just the week before her and Ted were leaving for Mexico. She was telling us all about it and how excited she was, and that she was just going there to rest and relax. She was loved and will be missed so much by me and our friends, Barbara, Jean, Leoni. We have another angel to look after us. Take care Edith, and we will see you, when we see you. Love from The Cane Club. - Posted by: Denise Funk (Friend) on: Feb 14, 2016

  • God has claimed another of His angels. We have fond memories with Ted and Edyta where as a newly married couple, Louis and I would spend many evenings in their company, learning the fine points of a successful marriage and sampling Edyta's superb cuisine. Our most sincere condolences to Ted and the entire family. May Edyta rest in peace. - Posted by: Ludwik I Lucia szkwarek (Friend) on: Feb 11, 2016

  • Please accept my deepest sympathy. I will remember Edyta as a very kind and hard working lady, who spent much volunteer time as a treasurer of the Canadian Polish Congress, Manitoba Branch Refugee Committee.
