JACOB BESTVATER July 8, 1934 - February 9, 2016 Peacefully, yet all too soon, on the morning of Tuesday, February 9, 2016, our dad, Jacob Bestvater, aged 81, passed away to be with his Lord. He was predeceased by his parents, Abram and Margaret Bestvater; one sister; two brothers and one sister in infancy. Dad is survived by his wife Mary (nee Harder); six children and their families, Dolores (Bob Lagace), Justin (Alia), Katrina (Bruce) and great-grandchild Chester; Peter (Sherry), Taylor and Carson; Paul (Sheryl), Marc and Renae (fiancé Chris); Doreen (Doug) Chornoboy, Larissa (Greg), Brendan and Carly (fiancé Brett); Rosemary (Curt) Wiebe, J.J. and Courtney; Eldon (Myra), Nicholas and Nathan; one brother John (Shirley);one sister-in-law, Brigitte and many nieces and nephews. ''Dad, you left before we could say `Good-Bye', but we know you are at peace. Until we see you again, "Schlope Schien". The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Elim Mennonite Church in Grunthal, MB.
