So very sorry to hear of Stewart's passing. I am very grateful for the many hours that Stewart dedicated to coaching my daughter's youth soccer team and women's team. He was a devoted coach who always encouraged the girls to try their very best, no matter the circumstances or what they were up against. Such a great life lesson that I am sure the girls have carried into their adult lives today. My deepest condolences Tracey and girls. - Posted by: Glennis Wittenberg () on: Feb 17, 2016

All of us are so very sorry and sad to hear of Stuart's passing. The last time we spoke (at Max’s funeral), Stuart told me we need to see each other more and make more time for family! So sorry I didn't listen him! Stuart was a great person and I will miss his smiling face. All you girls need to take care of each other. We wish we could be physically there on Tuesday to give all of you a big hug and to say a final good-bye to Stuart. But don't you worry, Margaret and Max and lots of other people have taken him as one of their own up in heaven. Peace be with you Stuart. Watch for signs every now and then from Stuart showing you that his spirit is still with you all. Our sincere condolences. The truth in life is the apple never falls too far from the tree . Stewart's dad Erhard was a professional in his trade , down right good family man ,and a good moral person. Guess what Stewart was exactly that just like his dad and his mom. Stewart's legacy that he leaves behind was taught well to his children and grand children . Just like his mom and dad gave to him. To the entire Benzing Clan your all in our thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow . - Posted by: Derrick and Sharon Spitzke (Friends Hillside beach) on: Feb 15, 2016

We have been as close as family for so long and will always feel the void left by Stew. We have laughed, cried and watched our families grow, travelled to such beautiful places and some not so nice places. We played, coached and watched soccer wherever we could, which helped bond us together. Through it all we always had a genuine love for each other. We will remember you always and carry you with us forever. We know you are watching over your girls and family. Be at peace! Forever in our hearts. - Posted by: Colin & Lori Crampton and family (Close friends) on: Feb 15, 2016

Tracey and girls, you all know how sorry I am that you are having to get under this life altering change so soon in life. It seems like yesterday I was at your wedding, and visiting you both in your first house. Stewart looked after you all so well. His love for soccer was amazing and so often if I was visiting he was always at a soccer game! There will never be a day that goes by that you all do not think of him. Love to you all. - Posted by: Jill McLauchlin (Tracey's cousin) on: Feb 15, 2016

I'm very sad to hear of Stewart's passing. I worked for him at the KP location for about five years while I was also going to school to university. Stewart always joked later that it was because of him I became a teacher. He was not only a gracious employer letting me be on his team but also allowed for me to study at work during the slow times which I will forever be grateful for. My deepest condolences to the family, he was a great, great man. - Posted by: Shannon Riccio (former employee) on: Feb 15, 2016

Very sorry to learn of Stewart's passing. We had the opportunity to speak to Stew at the work party in the fall at the lake. We shared his anger and his concern for his amazing family and we saw his determination to spend as much time as he could with Tracy and his loved ones. Wish things were different but in the end we will all meet him on the other side. Again so very sorry. - Posted by: Bev and Bob Gosselin (Friend from the Lake) on: Feb 14, 2016

Stewart was a good friend to Winnipeg Watch Enthusiasts and was also a good friend personally relative to my watch needs and questions. When the club was founded back in November of 2012, we reached out to a number of people for help in growing the club by word of mouth, posting information and handing out cards. Stewart was a major contributor in promoting the club and as a result, the club grew from 3 members to 190 members over three years. He also financially sponsored our club, which in the early stages, helped us avoid membership fees. In addition, Stewart looked after the horology needs of many of our members including myself. I trusted him with two family heirlooms of which he did a terrific job in revitalizing the the time pieces. He provided professional service to many of of WWE's members and we will not only miss his long time experience and knowledge, but also his helpful and good natured attitude shown to his clients. - Posted by: Rick Gilbert (customer and friend) on: Feb 12, 2016
