Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAPRIL DAWN BOULETTE Surrounded by her family, April Dawn Boulette (Ahnung Gwun Nay Biik) left us peacefully on February 11, 2016. Her grandmothers sat with us and helped April in her journey to the spirit world. Left to mourn is her beautiful daughter, Alexis, who she loved and cherished so much; her mother and step-father, Lena Lavallee (Ducharme) and Tom; her siblings, Crystal Boulette and husband Harris Everett, Mitchell Boulette, and Reuben Boulette and partner, Kate Vermette. April loved her nieces and nephews to the moon and back and had a special place in her heart for them, Saisha, Kyra, Harris Jr, Razelle, Emma, and Drake, along with Dennis, Ella and Rowan. Also grieving is her special friend, Ty Chartrand. April had many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends, who are too numerous to name. She loved you all! April was predeceased by her father, Brian Boulette; her grandparents, Fred and Margaret Boulette, Harry and Veronique Ducharme; and her uncles, Adrian Boulette and Raymond Wood. A member of the Black River First Nations, April was born in Winnipeg on January 23, 1986. She lived life to the fullest despite her struggles with kidney disease which plagued her for most of her adult life. We're all going to miss her smile, her laughter, her sense of humour, her bigger than life personality, and her random selfies. The family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone who assisted us through this very difficult time, all the prayers and songs, the comforting words, hugs, the messages and telephone calls and offers of support, and lastly, the Health Sciences Centre Emergency unit, the Dialysis unit, the ICU, the medical staff for displaying respect and providing April the dignity she deserved. Flowers graciously declined, however, if friends so desire, a donation can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba or sign a donor card. April I just found out that you had passed and I can't believe it.... I haven't seen you in atleast 4 years. My condolences to the family and especially Alexis, your mom is always with you, be strong! my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always cherish the amazing times we spent together. You were an amazing person to spend time with! We would always laugh, and have the best times together! You always made me feel so great! I can't believe that smile is taken away! You were a great friend from the time we became friends in high school and even after I moved away to Alberta and BC. My condolences to April family. I only knew April for a short time. But in that short time I grew to care a great deal for April. Every time I saw April she always had a big beautiful smile April was a very loving caring person she was full of life and always cheerful. I've got to see April a lot before her passing and when she left us it was hard to except. I'm missing you April you were far to young to go. I keep seeing you bright beautiful smile. Loved seeing her wittiness and spunk on my Facebook newsfeed. I live in Alberta and have grown up here practically my whole life but we found each other through the social media site. She had a wicked smile that could knock you off you feet and she had such an abundance of energy about her. I will miss her and I wil keep her close to my heart till we meet again.
