GRACE GERTRUDE TUCKER (MCCOOK) November 10, 1921 - February 19, 2016 Auntie Gracie peacefully passed away on Friday, February 19 at the age of 94, beloved wife of the late Michael Tucker. Survived by her sister Irene Slobodian, brother William Yaldernick and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Perchaluk, father, Peter McCook, sisters Clara Derhak, Elsie McCook, and brother John McCook. Auntie Gracie lived a full life, where she enjoyed many family get-togethers. Loved spending time at her sister's cabin at Victoria Beach, she had a zest for life and a great sense of humour. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and taking trips to the casinos. An avid seamstress, knitter and quilter she loved to showcase and share her beautiful keepsakes. Lifelong love of gardening brought her great joy as she spent the summer tending to her large backyard gardens. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, we would like to thank the emergency response units and the emergency teams at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness and great care they showed Auntie Gracie. Funeral service will be held this Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
