HENRI PERCY CARON Henri Caron, a longtime resident of Winnipeg, was born at Norman (Kenora), Ontario, February 4, 1932. He attended Mount Carmel and Kenora District High School. He taught in Gravelbourg, Sask. for 15 years, followed by many years teaching at the Juniorate and Louis Riel Collegiate. He retired in 1989. Music played a very big part in his life, and shared his love for music by playing the organ and piano at numerous weddings and funerals. He was predeceased by his son, Louie, his parents, Leon and Eva, sister Eglantine (Clinton Orr) and brothers Rodolph and Leopold. He is survived by son David and seven grandchildren. Special thank you to Vincent and David for helping Henri in his time of need. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will be at Lake of the Woods Cemetery in Kenora. There will be an additional Funeral Service held at St. Louis Catholic Church in Keewatin, Ontario in spring 2016. In lieu of flowers, Henri has asked that a donation to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Centre would be appreciated.
