HARTLEY KLIPPENSTEIN
Born: May 08, 1938
Date of Passing: Mar 06, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARTLEY KLIPPENSTEIN May 8, 1938 - March 6, 2016 It is with bitter-sweetness that I announce Hartley Klippenstein's passing on the beautiful evening of March 6, 2016. My Dad loved his workshop business, Toys from the Heart; St. Norbert Farmers' Market was his passion since it began - pull-dogs and trains, gingerbread houses and home décor he created with his sweetheart of 55+ years, Frances (wife he leaves to miss him). My Dad greets his folks, Anna and Jack, his brother Ken (Marlene); family, friends he hunted, fished, travelled and shared business with. We who live will continue to share our living memories - his wife, daughter (Cherie, Leonard Brisebois, Micayla and Katie), his brother Barry (Jacque), sister Cherrill (John Andrelunas) and brother Bruce (Linda), many of his cousins, nieces and nephews. "When you come to St. Norbert be sure to visit" The memorial service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W., Steinbach, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hartley may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street; Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030

The world has lost a wonderful, caring, gentleman--always so welcoming to us every visit we had together. Will remember his great voice and laugh. So sorry for your loss--our hearts go out to you all. xoxo Reg & Brenda Bresch & Family - Posted by: Reg & Brenda Bresch & Family (Longtime family friends) on: Mar 11, 2016

When Hartley was a suit salesman, I drove to Regina to meet him and that evening he took my wife and I out to a gorgeous restaurant and I had my first ever caesar salad made for us at the table. Loved them ever since but the art is dying. He was a wonderful salesman and became a short term friend until we lost touch with each other. My sincere condolences. - Posted by: Dave Turpie (Customer- Dave Turpie Men's Wear) on: Mar 09, 2016

I remember Hartley from Gordon Bell and saw him 10 years ago when he was selling his hand crafted toys at the Health Sciences Centre. A good guy! - Posted by: Warren Barnard (friend from Gordon Bell high school) on: Mar 09, 2016
