My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Lesia and family. My memories of Oleh are of a man full of life, incredibly hard working and dedicated to Rusalka and never short on fun and laughter. He was a stellar human being and will be missed by so many. May God grant you peace and courage in this trying time. Sending you all my love, Lesia. My thoughts and prayers go out to Oleh's family at this time. I just ran into him and had a lengthy conversation with Oleh at Garden City Mall last week. He was in great spirits and told me he was feeling much better. A great loss not only to the family but to the Ukrainian community! I was very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Oleh and celebrated the Divine Liturgy his repose and for the comfort and strength of Irene and the family. It was a pleasure to know Oleh and work with him. Stephen and I were altar boys together and Oleh provided many years of professional service with kindness and Christian charity to our parish. Irene's mom was my mom's sadochok teacher and, the day of my ordination to the priesthood, I had the great honour of being greeted on behalf of the parish, in our Ukrainian language, by Oleh's father, Semen. Very sad news indeed. We had a lovely conversation and many laughs at Rusalka's 50th reunion with both Oleh and Lesia. He seemed so full of life and optimism. Oleh was a sincere soul and a gentleman. As our lawyer for many years until he retired, Oleh was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Rusalka has lost a champion. - Posted by: Linda Fabian ( nee Lucko) ) and husband Karl (Rusalka Alumnus) on: Mar 10, 2016
