ELIZABETH CAROLINE LANGE (nee GUSTAFSON) 1938 - 2016 On March 7, 2016, Betty, aged 77 years, passed away at the Pinawa hospital, surrounded by her family. Survived by her loving husband Gerald, children Victor (Brenda), Stuart (Lana), and Stacy (Richard). Also, the light of her life, her grandchildren, Victoria (Brian), Mackenzie (Nicole), Madisson (Carlin), Joel, Paige, Courtney, Devin and her first great-grandchild Carter. Or as she called him "little buckaroo". Brother Gerry (Joy) Sieg and sister Grace, brothers and sisters-in-law and many numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Mom was the creative genius of our family. Many an hour were spent passing her knowledge and experience on to her children and grandchildren. She crocheted, quilted and created the most detailed and intricate paintings. Whether it was preparing a meal, fixing a pair of jeans or finding the answer to a crossword puzzle clue, you always knew that you could count on Mum to help you out. She could make something out of nothing and when it came to music, she knew the words and chords to almost every song. She loved to sing and play them on her accordion!! So long mom, you are my sunshine! You will always be missed but never forgotten. Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, health care aids and staff at the pinawa hospital for taking care of mum during her stay. Also, a big thank you to the home care staff for looking after mum while she was still at home. A celebration of mom's life will be held at a later date.
