Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVEN BRADLEY HRUDA December 10, 1954 - March 12, 2016 Steve Hruda, 61, of Steinbach formerly of Gretna, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB. He is survived by his wife Sharon, one daughter, one son and their families. He was predeceased by his father and one sister. The memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W., Steinbach, MB, with the ash interment at a later date. I always loved seeing my Uncle Steve and asking him what was new. He always had something on the go and even the seemingly simplest of things were an adventure! "I bought a car." Then he'd proceed to tell you how the car didn't have wheels OR a motor and had been parked in a farmer's field for decades! Uncle Steve's passion for everything was contagious. His loyalty (Coca-Cola, Chrysler, and family - in no particular order) was admirable. His work ethic was amazing. Plus, when I was kid, he introduced me to the musical brilliance of Aerosmith, so for that alone I am eternally grateful! Uncle Steve was a great man and we will miss him. Auntie Sharon, we wish we could've been back in Manitoba to celebrate Steve's life with you and the family but know that we keep all of you in our thoughts and our prayers and that all the great memories we have of our time with Uncle Steve we will cherish forever.
