SHARON PENNER It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Penner. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Pete and daughters Nicole and Jenna. Along with sisters Sylvia (Ray), Valerie (Eddie), brothers Stan (Patty), Wayne (Shelley), extended family and friends. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Ed and Violet Wiebe. Her life revolved around her family, friends and travelling, with lots of laughs along the way. Sharon was a dedicated BMO employee for over 30 years. Please join us in celebrating the wonderful person she was on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. A viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by service at 2:00 p.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ChildCare International, Supporting Hearts and Hands for Haiti.

I was saddened to learn today of Sharon's passing, my heartfelt condolences to her family. While I did not work directly with her, we would share BMO stories as she would pass by my house on her walks. I was completely shocked to learn of Sharon's passing. Sharon was such a wonderful lady with a beautiful smile. We would talk about our travels and where Sharon was traveling next. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Penner Family, and also her BMO Family at the Ellice Branch especially. I was sad to hear of Sharon's passing. I worked with her at Ellice and Berry. She was always cheerful and such a happy person. Clients loved her and would pass up their turn to wait for her. I also mourn the loss of this great lady. Sadly our lives went different directions and we lost touch over the years. Sharon and I worked together at BMO. I can still hear her laugh. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. Sharon and I used to sit in the bleachers and watch Erin and Jenna play against each other in basketball . Sharon was a beautiful person and I had the pleasure of meeting her again when she brought Nicole her lunch short while ago. We hugged and got caught up with our lives. Sharon was the sweetest soul and I am heart broken to hear of her passing so young. I met Sharon when I worked at Fort Garry Trust at Portage and Smith Street from 1975 to 1979. Sharon was a friend and great person to work with! I now live in British Columbia or would be planning to come to Sharon's service. Sharon was a wonderful adorable personality who took the time out to look after my banking business and share kinds thoughts with me. I am deeply sadden at her untimely passing and wish to express my heart-felt sympathy to her beloved husband and children. Please know that the Lord of host is your refuge and strength. Penner Family, I worked with Sharon at the Ellice and Berry branch during the summers while I attended university. I have such fond memories of Sharon. She was always up for a laugh and she made the job so enjoyable, making connections and friendships with clients and staff, alike. Nicole were are thinking about you during this difficult time. Your mom was a lovely lady. She even brought me dessert when we worked together many years ago. She also came in the middle of the night to bring you your keys when you locked them in the car at my lake. She really loved you and showed you in so many ways. She was very classy and kind person!
