BETTY STANDING The family of Betty Standing wishes to announce her peaceful passing on March 25, 2016 at 93 years of age with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, sisters Margaret, Eileen, Joyce, Maureen, Doreen and brother Jack. She was very much a part of Debbie and Tony's lives and leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish fond memories of time spent with her. Betty was born and lived her entire life in Winnipeg. She worked many years at Swifts and Schneider's Foods. Later years were spent with Gordon travelling Canada and the U.S. in their camper, fishing and spending time at the Brereton Lake cottage. Betty always had a smile and liked everyone she met and vice versa. She had a great love of dogs for which she had many. We wish to thank all the staff of Extendicare Tuxedo Villa for their wonderful care and kindness during her four year stay. As per Betty's wishes cremation has taken place and no service is planned. Rest in peace dear "Aunt B", we love you and will miss you. Voyage Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

I will miss you Aunt Bet. I shall always remember that smile on your face and all the good times I shared with you and all the family. Driving down to Brereton was with you was always an adventure.
