HEINZ KAMPEN Heinz Kampen passed away on Monday, March 21 , 2016, at the Grace Hospice at the age of 73 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Helene; son Kevin (Erika), daughter Melanie; his siblings, Hilda Heinrichs, Renate (Wolf) Hein, Walter (Dorothea) Kampen, Art (Nadine) Kampen; special cousin John (Anna) Kampen; mother-in-law Maria Tiessen; brother-in-law Heinrich (Ida) Tiessen; sister-in-law Irene (Bruno) Unrau, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Katharina (Regier); stepmother Helene (Sudermann); brother Nick and sister-in-law Edith Kampen; and brother-in-law Victor Heinrichs. Funeral Service for Heinz Kampen will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay, Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. If desired, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee. The family would like to thank the many people who helped us care for Heinz over the last five years. A special thank you to Dr. P. Czaykowski and Denise Klassen at CancerCare, Palliative care nurse Ann Ediger, as well as the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the staff at the Grace Hospice for their compassionate and excellent care.
