  • Knew Chris for almost 50 years, since grade 2. He was my School Patrol partner in grade 6. I was shocked and saddened by the news. Rest in peace Chris. - Posted by: Bob Jensen (Bobby J) (Highschool friend) on: Apr 12, 2016

  • I have worked on projects with Chris for 16 years. He was always one who spoke few words but when he did speak EVERYONE was quiet and listened as they knew his contribution would be valuable. There are too few folks like that in the world. I will miss his sage advice. - Posted by: Paula Siwik (Colleague) on: Apr 11, 2016

  • I was fortunate enough to get to know Chris through his love of UMFM. He would often call the office to find out what might be playing during the day, or to praise some of the programming he heard on the weekend. It was clear that he had a real passion for music of all kinds, and it was always extremely nice to hear from him and to know that our station was having a positive impact in his life. I feel fortunate to have gotten to know him, even only in a small way - he certainly will be missed. - Posted by: Jared McKetiak () on: Apr 11, 2016

  • God Bless. We played on HIGH school basketball and men's teams together. What a great guy. Sorry for the loss to his family. Fond fond memories of you Chris. - Posted by: Garth Riley () on: Apr 09, 2016

  • This is such sad news. I got to know Chris while doing my UMFM Saturday morning radio show My Generation. Chris often worked Saturday mornings and would message me or call during my shows to chat about a particular song I had played or to suggest a song. He knew his music. I always enjoyed our chats. Chris was an ardent supporter of UMFM campus radio. I also knew Chris when Jen was in my Rock Show program at SJR. He will be missed. - Posted by: John Einarson (friend) on: Apr 09, 2016
