Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTAVROULA (VOULA) TOUFANIDIS With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Voula on April 7, 2016 at Riverview Health Centre, at 84 years of age. Voula is survived by her loving husband Nick, son Theodore, grandchildren Victoria and Nicholas, along with siblings Vicky Alevizos and Zach Lazaridis. She was predeceased by her son Jimmy, both her parents, brother Costa, nephew Tom, and brother-in-law Costa. Voula was born in Sparta, Greece, arriving to Canada in 1957 with aspirations of becoming a seamstress. In her spare time she enjoyed going for long walks and spending time with her family and friends, especially her two grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you for their care and compassion, to 3 East Riverview Health Centre. Prayers will be held Wednesday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location with Rev. Fr. Konstantinos Tsiolas officiating. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens.
