ANTONIO PEREIRA MORAIS Suddenly on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 Antonio, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 80 years. Antonio will be deeply missed by his wife, Maria, of 51 years of marriage; daughter Zelia (Nino); son Marco (Gina); grandchildren, Marisa, Anthony, Alexia, and Brianna; brothers, Manuel, Jose, and Antonino; as well as numerous other extended family and friends. Antonio was born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1972 settling in Winnipeg. Dad was a hard worker providing for his family who he truly loved and admired - putting their needs before his. He had a passion for his vegetable garden and wine making which he supplied the family as well as his neighbours and friends. Upon retiring from Pourex Construction, he enjoyed spending time with family and his daily visits with his friends at the Northgate Mall. Viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N. on Friday, April 15, 2016 with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
