Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROMAN PROKOPCHUK March 9, 1934 - April 10, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, brother and uncle to many of us. Roman passed away suddenly at his home in Winnipeg on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Roman was born March 9, 1934 in Sandy Lake, Manitoba. He is survived by his loving son, Lorne Prokopchuk and his wife Kimberly, brothers and sisters, Bill (Ann), Olga (Lloyd), Jean (Walter) and Walter (Shirley) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Anne, father Paul and his sister Lilly Armstrong. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kvern and Physicians team for their many years of gentle caring and patience, also the attending officers of the Paramedic, Police Department. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 35 Marcie St., Winnipeg on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. for a Memorial Service in celebration of his life. Lunch will be served after the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roman's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
