ROSALIE SONJA KUKLICA (nee ZIEMIANSKI) 1937 - 2016 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rose, beloved wife of John, loving mother of Kimberley and Gregory. Rose was born on October 15, 1937 on the same farm and homestead as her father was, near Oakburn, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her father Walter and mother Lena. Rose was a very special lady and she lived for her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband John of almost 58 years, her son Gregory and daughter Kimberely. Her brother Arnold (Ruth) and family, and all extended family. Thankyou to Cancer Care, Women's Hospital, and Beausejour Hospital for all the care given to Rose. A Christian service will be held on Monday April 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with an interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cancer Society of Manitoba.

She had welcomed me into her home with open arms and helped me establish a life here in Canada. I wouldn't be where I am today without her help. She was one of the nicest and happiest people, and never wore a frown on her face. She was like a second mother to me. She taught me so much.
