Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN NOWICKI June 16, 1927 - April 25, 2016 Suddenly, on Monday, April 25, 2016 our mom passed away at Holy Family Nursing Home. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Ted Nowicki in 1991. She is survived by seven children; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Born in Poland, Helen survived the war camp in Germany where she met her husband Ted. After the war, they immigrated to Canada in 1955 from Belgium. Helen was a very hard worker throughout her life and had a passion for all animals. Helen's happiest moments were spent at the farm with all her chickens, turkeys and peacocks who would follow behind her as she walked the farm. Helen at 88 years old was very sweet and tender with a special smile. We will miss you greatly Mom and know you are at peace. A private family ceremony will take place on Saturday as per Mom's wishes. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
