a few years ago we bumped into each other near the post office in Stonewall. Had a good chat about things we could remember way back. So sorry for family who will miss him. - Posted by: sharon mcdonald (friend in grade 5 at Lord Wolsey school) on: May 01, 2016

Sorry to read about the loss of your "big" brother, Hans. There was never a dull moment when you would drop in at the Kjear household either on Leighton Ave or the Stonewall family farm. Football games on Rossmere golf course or the front lawn at the farm. Friendly family rumbles when Hans taught his brothers how to make their beds on Saturday mornings, and no one wanted to listen. Having the Kjear klan over to our family cottage at Falcon Lake to dry off after their camping week-ends of fishing and them being soaked from 2 days of non-stop rain. Of course playing chicken on snow-mobiles at the farm and then closing the bar at the Stonewall Hotel and indulging in some pizza and chicken at a local restaurant was a tradition. Sorry for your loss of your big brother, who always knew best! - Posted by: Michael & Janet Kowal (Family friends) on: Apr 30, 2016
