LLOYD ROBERT MOORE
Born: Nov 01, 1946
Date of Passing: Apr 28, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLLOYD ROBERT MOORE November 1, 1946 - April 28, 2016 A celebration of the life of Lloyd Moore will be held on May 6, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rowandale Baptist Church, 162 Rowandale Avenue, Winnipeg. Lloyd was an infinitely loving husband to his wife Mary for 45 years; loving dad to his children Lee-Ann Tiede (Nathan), Brian (Kendra), and Matthew (Dawna); and adoring grandpa to Ben, Loris, Jeremy, Angus, Chandelle, and Caidyn. Lloyd enjoyed life with a unique zeal. He had many people he loved and who loved him, but was always looking for more people he could call friend. Helping others gave him great pleasure and he was more than willing to give all he had to better the situation of another. He had a passion for cars, buffets, and ketchup. The family would like to convey our deepest appreciation to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their incredible love and dedication during Lloyd's residency there, over the past three years. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL (204) 956-2193 www.korbanchapel.com

I have good memories of Lloyd. Always funny (or trying to be). I'm sorry for the loss of your husband, Mary and your dad to the children. - Posted by: Harriet & Mient Timmermans (Cousin-in-law) on: May 04, 2016

Lloyd and Mary invited me into there house when I was 16 and had nowhere else to go! they treated me like I was one of there own in the months I stayed there! Lloyd was always full of strange humour and witty remarks and I very much enjoyed the time I spent with him! I hadn't seen much of him in the last few years but I will never forget the kindness and sincerity of him! I truly hope you're at peace! - Posted by: Eric Mikkelson (Friend) on: May 04, 2016

My Uncle had some very useful skills that benefited a large number of people. Lloyd had the ability to listen and redirect a person so they had time to sort out and think through whatever the days issue may be, there was nothing too big that a car ride or an ice cream wouldn't straightened right up. He didn't solve everyone's troubles but somehow eagerly changed your surroundings so you could sort it out on your own."Uncle Lloyd....we are no longer afraid". -D.J.Moore - Posted by: Darren J.Moore (Nephew ) on: May 04, 2016
