MARGARET SCHMIDT January 2, 1929 - May 11, 2016 Margaret Schmidt, 87, of Winnipeg, MB, formerly of Lowe Farm, MB, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at her residence. She is survived by her husband Abe, one daughter, three sons and their families. She is also survived by three sisters, two brothers and their families. A come and go viewing will take place on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with the interment to follow at the Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church Cemetery, Springstein, MB. Viewing prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Margaret may be made to a charity of one's choice.
