Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JOHNATHON PRIESTON It is with great sadness the family announces the tragic passing of John Prieston on May 12, 2016. John was predeceased by his grandparents Pasquale Cianflone, George and Sally Prieston, and his Uncle Danny. Left to mourn his passing are his Mother Vanessa Cianflone (Reid), Father George Prieston, Brothers Gary, Matthew, and Curtis, Grandmother Kathleen, Uncles Paulo, Glen (Patty), Greg (Kim) and Steven, Aunt Diane, Nephews Anthony and MJ, Joseph, and numerous other cousins, John's stepchildren Alex and Matthew Eklund, and longtime girlfriend Natalee Eklund, along with best friend Roland Dumaine, and many other close friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway.

Johnathon still can't believe ur gone. U would have been 30 on Jan 9. I miss you Johnathon, I have many memories of you. I will never forget you, always keep your memory alive, you will always be in My heart. If tears could build a stairway, memories a lane, I'd walk up to heaven n bring u home again. I only knew John on a professional level due to the fact that he was in custody when I got to know him. As far as Inmates go John was a good man and really appeared to want to better himself for his family. I have nothing but good things to say about him and some of the jokes I would hear. Its tough having to work in a system where you get to build relationships with people and find out that their lives were cut short when released, it's not the first nor the last but I know you're in peace. Vanessa, Gary and Matthew I am sorry for your loss. This is absolutely heartbreaking. Seems like only yesterday Johnathan was a little boy. I can't imagine the pain you guys are going through.
