HELEN MAY (HOLMSTROM) CHANDLER (nee ZAHARIA) Peacefully, on Monday, March 21, 2016 at her residence, with her husband Ed by her side, Helen passed away at the age 95 years. Helen leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her son Wayne (Judy); grandson Ken (Jessie); great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ashleigh and Kade; sister-in-law Shirley (David); stepchildren, Natalie (Craig) in Kelowna, David (Darlene) in Dauphin and George (Marlene) in Winnipeg; five grandchildren and her husband of 54 years, Ed. She was predeceased by her first husband Laurence in 1960; son David and wife Greta; sisters, Gladys and Doreen; brothers, Fred and David (Shirley); and granddaughter Kathryne. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Prime (Deer Lodge), Dr. Alback and Sheena. Also the home care workers who helped her through the past six years, especially Sharon and Winta. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Brookside Cemetery has already taken place.
