TRACY LYNN EBBERS (nee OWENS) Peacefully, at her residence, on Sunday, May 22, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones, Tracy Lynn Ebbers passed away at the age of 55 years. Besides her husband Robert, she is survived by her daughter Nikki; sister Lori Chartrand (Andy); several stepbrothers and sisters; nieces and nephews; cousins; her parents-in-law, Maria and William Ebbers; and brothers and sisters-in-law. Tracy was predeceased by her daughter April Ebbers; her father Ken Owens, mother Lillian Owens, and stepmom Joyce Owens. Tracy recently retired from IGA/Sobeys after 35 years of service. She loved the sun and travel. Tracy traveled throughout the Caribbean and Hawaii on various cruises with family. She made one solo trip with her friend Gail to Mexico. Tracy enjoyed her time at the family cottage in Steep Rock on Lake Manitoba. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as playing bocce ball and croquet. Tracy was known as the "Fire Marshall" around the fire pit. Tracy's home is filled with pictures and statuettes of her giraffe collection. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface and W.H.R.A. Palliative Care as well as CancerCare Manitoba for all their help and support. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tracy's memory may be made to the W.R.H.A.
