Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • I was only a member of the Friesen family for a short time. What I remember of Auntie Jeanette was the feeling that her heart was large. There was nothing hidden in her eyes. What you saw is what you got. Authentic to the bone. My condolences to those who mourn her passing. May your memories be filled with the good times you shared and the love that she carried for you throughout the years. - Posted by: Ronnie Graham aka. Friesen (Nephew ) on: Jun 18, 2016

  • I will always remember my years in YBC with Jeannette as a coach. She was a very giving and loving person. I also enjoyed a few years of adult bowling with Jeanette. My condolences to the family, she will very much be missed. - Posted by: Diana Gallant (Friend) on: May 27, 2016

  • WOW. . . . It is so difficult to know what to say about this wonderful lady that hasn't already been said. Jeanette, from the day I met you at Darlene and Mike ' s, I knew we would be friends. We didn't have the opportunity to pull off many shenanigans but we did have the opportunity to work together along with your twin sister Jeanne to add our special touches to Dar and Mike's wedding. You two changed my name to Pam. I am so happy to have spent that hour or so at the hospital with you a couple of weeks ago. I want you to know you will be missed terribly and I will watch Mike ' s back for you. NOT but I will always be here for your daughter if she ever needs me. I will continue to keep our wish going of the two of them having a loving and successful life together. You will always be in my heart. I know you are reunited with your hubby and daughter with a new set of lungs like Darlene said. Be happy, be free and soar with the angels my friend. . . .till we meet again. - Posted by: Sandy Jones (Friend and mother of her son in law Mike) on: May 27, 2016

  • Sending our heartfelt condolences to all of Jeannette's family. I feel for you all. It's not easy watching loved ones suffer with illnesses. Nor is it easy losing someone we love and cherish. Jeannette was a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of her. Take comfort in knowing that at least now she is resting easy reunited with her husband and daughter. Love you all. - Posted by: Melinda and Stewart Blumhagen () on: May 27, 2016

  • I met Jeannette when my son started bowling in Gimli quite a few year back. The bowlers loved her to pieces. She was a great leader to them and a great coach. She put her heart and soul into making the bowling seasons the best for them. Rest in Peace Jeannette you are able to breath freely now....God Speed...Maureen & Kurtis. - Posted by: Maureen Paskaruk (aquatiance) on: May 27, 2016
