Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM KENNETH RUSSELL November 1, 1932 - May 24, 2016 It is with great sadness Bill's family announces his passing at St. Boniface Hospital after a month long struggle. He was predeceased by Myrtle, the mother of his children; and his son Brian. He is survived by his wife Nancy; daughters, Carol (Harry Beers) and Linda (Dal Fitzsimmons); sons, Randy (Darlene) and Rob (Cecelia); stepdaughter Tracy Chagnon; and grandchildren, Shawn, Adam, Carrie-Ann, Harry Jr., Aaron and Rachel. Also surviving are his sister Patricia Joyce; brother Jack Russell of Vancouver; as well as, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bill spent his entire working life at the Winnipeg Free Press. A valiant, kind and loving heart is now at rest. Cremation has taken place and as per Bill's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
