JOHN T. JONES 1938 - 2016 Peacefully, on May 18, 2016, John T. Jones, aged 77 years, passed away at his home. John leaves behind his devoted wife of 48 years, Janet, his children Kim (Derek) and Kelly (Sergio), and grandchildren - Brent, Adam, Caspar, Maea and Kai. "Papa" will be sadly missed. He will be remembered by his siblings, his in-laws and their families. John was born in Winnipeg on July 30, 1938 and spent his life there. He was an accountant by nature as well as by profession and had a long career as a CGA. In his healthy years, John took great pleasure and pride in his flower garden, bowling league and family. In his early retirement, Papa took joy in spending time with and mentoring his grandkids. In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held.
