Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE FRIESEN (NOLIN) October 26, 1944 - May 25, 2016 It is with great sadness the family of Jeannette Friesen announces her passing on May 25, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Dell Friesen, and daughter Debbie Bonkowski. Jeannette leaves behind her daughter Darlene Brine (Mike); twin sister Jeanne Rudniski; sisters, Pat Quantrill (Bob) and Charlotte Nolin; brother Leo Nolin; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; chosen daughter Irene Lesage (Guy); best friends Dolly and Rene Lepine; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond Nolin and Art Nolin. Jeannette was involved with YBC and Special Olympics as a coach for many years until she took ill. She retired from Mac's after 26 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lung Association of Manitoba, 1 Wesley Ave., Unit 301, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4C6. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 1, at RCL Branch 7, 117 Regent Ave E at 1:00 p.m. An extra special thank you to the staff at Gimli Hospital for their care of Mom.
