ANNA JULIETTE OVERBY Peacefully, at the Teulon Hospital on Saturday, May 28, 2016 Anna Overby (Veldkamp) passed away at the age of 87. She is survived by sons, Ken (Iris), Ralph (Carleen), Ron (Darlene); grandchildren, Neil (Deanne), Jillian (Devin); Ryan, Heather (Don), Jennifer, Julie; Brett (Shirley), Rachel (Matt), Jonathon, Caroline, Brianna; great-grandson Bentley. She is also survived by her siblings, Bill (Marge), Paul (Margaret), Tony (Teresa), Terry (Al), Ed (Louise); sisters-in-law, Ragna and Helen; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; her special friends Eleanor Bruce, the old time dancers and neighbours at Gateway Manor. Anna was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 1999 after 47 years of marriage; parents Henry and Marguerite. A special thanks is extended to Rose Farmer and the home care staff at Gateway Manor and Dr. Loudon and the nursing staff at the Hunter Memorial Hospital. Anna was born in Teulon on July 13, 1928 and lived in the Interlake most of her life. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, Manitoba.
