LOPAI MAHMOUD It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lopai Mahmoud. Surrounded by family and loved ones, Lopai passed in the night of May 25, 2016. He was born October 4, 1998. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and other staff at the Children's Hospital, Pediatric Care Unit who cared for Lopai from birth and throughout his life. Although Lopai endured many things, he also enjoyed many things such as watching sports and travelling to Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and Disneyland in Orlando. He had many friends from the schools he attended over the years (Bairdmore, Arthur A. Leach and Vincent Massey). Lopai was so deeply loved by and will be dearly missed by his mother Elizabeth; sister Nyume; uncles, Peter and Emmanuel; grandmother Virginia and his three aunts, Rebecca, Lucy and Carlina. Lopai was loved by many, his countless aunts, uncles, cousins and support workers, who will all miss him. We thank our extended family and everyone who has been involved in Lopai's life over the years. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Whyte Ridge Baptist Church, 201 Scurfield Blvd. with viewing prior to the service. Interment will take place at St. Vital Cemetery. A reception will then follow at Calvary Temple Church 440 Hargrave Street, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
