WILLIAM JAMES ASPINALL On June 13, 2016, William Aspinall passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of nearly 58 years, Donna; daughters, Shauna (Arnie) Alander and Laurel (Franc) Lukaczynski, of Winnipeg and Leanne (Tyler) Norberg, of Airdrie, Alberta; grandsons, Quinn, Keaton and Aiden; and granddaughters, Lexana, Nicole and Shaye. He is also survived by his brother John (Sheila) Aspinall and sister Gloria Shibicky, both of British Columbia. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Bengta Aspinall, and his sister Betty-Grace Aspinall. Bill was born and raised in the Norwood area of Winnipeg, but had lived most of his life in St. Vital. He was employed for many years with Centra Gas. Following retirement, as an active member of the Glenlawn Congregation, he was able to focus more on sharing his belief in the Bible's promise as found in Revelation 21:3, 4. "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
