Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL STEFANYSHYN 1926 - 2016 Michael passed away on June 15, 2016 after a long illness, with family at his side, at Holy Family Home. He is survived by his wife Maria, of 46 years of marriage; his sons Jerry (Elsie) and Larry (Melissa); grandchildren Michael (Sho-Tun) and Leah (Scott); and great-grandchildren Cassidy and Tori. He was predeceased by his first wife Anna in 1969, and his siblings. He arrived in Canada in 1948, spending most of his working life in Oshawa, ON, until finally moving to Winnipeg in 2009. The family would like to thank all the Sisters and staff at Holy Family Home for their compassion and enduring care of Michael over the last three years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lubov Foundation (Holy Family Home), 1085 Main St., Winnipeg, MB R2W 1T9. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael Buyachok on Monday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery in West St. Paul.
