Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT LYMAN SPEER Robert Lyman Speer passed away peacefully at Holy Family Home on June 15, 2016. Bob was born September 22, 1937, in Winnipeg. Bob is survived by sons, David (Paulette) and Dan (Shelley), grandchildren, Michael (Kim), Krista (Zach), Braedon (Karen), Lindsay (Ryan), Erin and Matthew, great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Elena and Roman. Bob will also be missed by sisters, Melody (Hal), Charlotte (Stan), Christina (Brian), brother Clifford (Gina), nephews, nieces and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his wife Anne, his parents, James and Verlie Ismay Speer and brother Jimmy. Bob took pride in his business, High Five. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors who looked after Bob at the Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit for many years. Also, a special thanks to the staff on the fifth floor of the Holy Family Home who looked after Bob the last 18 months. Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada - Manitoba Branch, in Bob's memory. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Sorry to hear about your father, Dan, Shelly and family. Ironically just this last week I met a person who knows you and I asked about all of you. Just found out that your father was really ill. My thoughts will be with you as they were this last week also. Sorry I am unable to make it to the service but still remember your father very much.
