TERRANCE KEITH FLEMING It is with a saddened heart, that the family announces the sudden passing of our father and Papa, Terrance Keith Fleming on June 13, 2016. He passed at home where he most liked to be with his artwork, pieces of Moorcroft pottery and his little feline companion Loretta. Dad was born on July 31, 1942 to Keith and Joan Fleming and was the oldest child of the family. He spent 34 years at CN finishing his career as a Payroll Supervisor. Many a time he would come home from work and tell us of the million dollar payroll cheques he had to handle. On June 6, 1964 Dad and Mom were married and spent 47 years together in good times and bad. Dad was active with us as kids coaching baseball and soccer teams. Both Mom and Dad travelled many miles to watch Kirk play football in Thunder Bay, Bemidji and Ottawa. He also really enjoyed coaching a senior soccer team. One of Dad's passions was to try and stay physically fit and was a faithful member of the Peguis Trail Fitness Centre. His other great passion was auctions and loved attending all the Dominion auctions over the years. I think I can say he was a good customer. In his retirement, Dad was busy with his grandchildren and loved to come and pick Zachary and Jessica up for school. He was very proud of his grandchildren. Dad leaves to mourn his daughter Kristen and son-in-law Stephen Bahr and son Kirk Fleming and his four grandchildren - Zachary and Jessica Bahr and Elisia and Trent Fleming. Four years ago, Dad met a wonderful person in Irene Sanderson. With Irene, Dad got to explore many parts of the world he never thought he would go and helped him renew his faith in God. A Memorial Service with be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main at Inkster. Dad, the grace of God has set you free. Go in peace and you will always be in our hearts. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • We were so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family at this difficult time. He was indeed a good customer, as you say, but more than that, he was always a bright spot: one of the people in our auction community who we always looked forward to seeing and chatting with. His pride in his grandchildren was always apparent in the stories he shared with us and the joy he took in shopping for things he could share with them. His friendly manner and ready smile will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Aimee Peake () on: Jun 18, 2016

  • Everyone at Peguis Fitness is saddened by Terry's passing. He was a fixture there for many years and shared stories with all that knew him. He was especially proud of his grand children and said he wanted to stay in shape so he could spend more time with them. He was a very colourful character and always impressed me with his knowledge of classic rock bands and even knew the names and backgrounds of most of the band members. I enjoyed our little chats and will always remember him. - Posted by: Greg Zembik (Friend) on: Jun 18, 2016
