Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUISE WHYTE September 1, 1935 - June 19, 2016 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our dear mother, also known as Wawa, at the age of 80. Wawa's memory will be cherished by daughters, Laurie (Claude), Kelly (Robert), numerous grandchildren and Sharon. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ann Zimmerman. Wawa was an avid bowler, a 44 year member of Rockwood Legion #303 and belonged to 402 Squadron. She resided at Villa Cabrini and did volunteer work for the past 16 years, where she also made many lifelong friends with all the ladies. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff at The Buhler Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care nurses who were so caring with our Wawa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. 204-586-8044
