Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER PENNER It is with deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Walter Penner, at Concordia Hospital on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the age of 82 years. Walter will be greatly missed by his wife Lydia; daughters, Sylvia and Linda (Daniel); grandchildren, Garrett, Nicholas, Emily, Jill, Sara; brother Don (Chris) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Walter was born on April 21, 1934 in Neuenberg, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his brothers, John (Katherine), Arthur (Dorothy), Edwin; and sister Katie (Ike). Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 11:00 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Mennonite Church or a charity of your choice.
