THOMAS WAYNE PHILLIPS May 11, 1947 - June 21, 2016 With great sadness we announce the passing of our remarkable brother, Tom Phillips, on June 21, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Art and Mickey Phillips; brothers-in-law, Norman Trimble, Andy Huard; and great-nephew T. J. Hawula. Survived by his five sisters, Linda-May (Brian), Bonnie (Rodger), Susan, Penny and Darlene (Rick), many nieces and nephews, his wonderful girlfriend Denise and many treasured friends; especially Terry and Phil. Tommy enjoyed hockey, baseball, bowling, cycling and getting together with family and friends. A celebration of Tommy's life will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
