PHYLLIS JOAN DILLON (FULLER) May 26, 1933 - June 25, 2016 It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Nana, Great Nana, Friend and Mentor, Phyllis Dillon - leaving us at the age of 83 years. Born in Heathrow (London), England, Phyllis's notable strength and character came at an early age - and in 1967 she left Britain behind to build a life for her family in Canada - never losing sight of her English roots. She was a joy to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Her love for her family was immense, and she enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could. Whether relaxing and fishing at the lake, testing her luck at the local casinos, or catching up on the latest Coronation Street gossip - Phyllis embraced life to the fullest and always had a smile and a song for the ride. Predeceased by her husband William (d.1997) and eldest daughter Linda (d.2016). Phyllis leaves to mourn her surviving children, John (Marie), David, Matthew (Lynn), and Patrick (Teresa); grandchildren, Aubrey (Jason), Naomi (Doug), John Jr, David (Priscilla), Sarah, Mark, Austen, Andrew, Matthew Jr, Megan (Anthony), Devin, Todd, Crystal, Tabitha, Logan, Dakota... and countless great-grandchildren. She will also be missed dearly by her devoted friend Donna. A small celebration of Phyllis's life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1748 Main Street. 204-586-8044
