Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Dick and myself met Marie while we were snowbirds in Pacific Mobile Manor in Apache Junction, AZ. Friendship was established with many fond, fond memories had. Marie was Dick's lifeguard in the pool since one couldn't be in the pool alone. Needless to say, Marie's baking was excellent which was shared with many in our park. I remember Marie riding her bike to deliver us one of her homemade pies... Lemon became our favourite since fresh lemons were so available. Marmalade also was made every spring. I remember Dick and I helping Marie pack her large box of fruit to bring back to her family each spring. And then Marie was our minister in the mock wedding which was held in the clubhouse in our park. We're sending our condolences to Marie's family. You had a wonderful mother and she thought the world of each of you!! - Posted by: Barb & Dick (Friendship from Arizona) on: Jul 02, 2016

  • Aunty Marie was one of a kind. She always had a smile on her face and was always happy to see us when we visited her. She was a reminder to us all how truly blessed we are to have such a wonderful family. We will miss her dearly. So sorry that Marlene and I are unable to attend the prayers or funeral. We will be thinking of you all. Love Cheryl and Marlene - Posted by: Cheryl DuGray (Nieces) on: Jul 02, 2016
