CHARLENE DAHLIN Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Charlene passed away peacefully on July 2, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. She discovered the love of her life, Paul Dahlin in 1976 and after 37 years of marriage he still calls her "My Bride" as if no time has passed. Charlene will be forever loved by those she left behind and always held in our hearts: son Derek and partner Melanie, daughters Lindsey and Bobbie-Jo; grandkids Alexandria, Maverick, Morgan and Jordan; nephews Christopher (Claire and Benjamin) Scott (Mel); Charlene's mother Anne Morley, sister-in-law Sheri (Daren), and father-in-law Dwayne Dahlin. Charlene was devoted to her work, family and her life with Paul, the kids and all the pets the family had through the years. She worked for the Bank of Montreal for over 35 years and then with Canada Cartage for the last five years. She was highly regarded in both companies for getting the job done right and made lifelong friendships along the way. She supported Paul behind the scenes in both the business with Canadian Team Photo and with his work with Minor Hockey. She was the treasurer, secretary, accountant, records keeper, general manager and was really the woman behind the man running the whole show. Charlene was graceful, kind, genuine, honest, understanding and fiercely devoted to her children. She was one of the nicest women you will ever meet, patient and always there to help in any way she could. She will be missed dearly and we imagine her with her sister talking again for hours as they did when they were young. Till we meet again. Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the CancerCare at Health Sciences Centre.

I had the opportunity to work next to Charlene when working with Canada Cartage. She was a lovely woman who was very graceful, kind, spirited and funny. She was always a pleasure to be around and the world is truly a sadder place as we won't be able to see her smile. She will, however, remain in our hearts and mind. You are at peace now Charlene. Another angel in heaven. God bless you always Charlene. - Posted by: April Stapon (Former Co-worker) on: Jul 05, 2016
