Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPRODROMOS PETER CONSTANTINIDES With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Prodromos Peter Constantinides on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Maples Personal Care Home. Predeceased by son Stavros, he leaves to mourn his beloved wife Helen, of 65 years, daughters Maria (Silvano) of Ottawa and Elizabeth (Garth) of Regina, and his five grandchildren Christopher (Tracy), Felicia, Nicholas, Alexa and Elenna. Prodromos was born in Vathilakos, Greece on April 28, 1927. He and Helen immigrated to Winnipeg in 1959 where they settled and raised their two daughters. Prodromos was a proud Canadian and loved to discuss politics with his friends and family. He worked very hard for many years as a cabinet maker and was self-taught in many other trades and took much pride in a job well done. Prodromos was very proud of his family and their many accomplishments and he instilled a strong work ethic, family values and perseverance. Prodromos loved his family unconditionally and his greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren who brought him much happiness and for whom he had a soft heart. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Jain and all the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their excellent and compassionate care. Prayers will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2255 Grant Ave. in Winnipeg, MB on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will also be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to be held at Waverley Memorial Gardens.
