This is my Dad, Richard Romeo Claeys. He spent his whole life working and taking care of us and his family and many other people around. Most didn’t even show up at his funeral! Don’t try say you know my dad or our family. We lived an amazing life because of my dad and his work struggles, homemade crafts, his native ways and love and respect he had for women and family. Old school guy. Brought up hard. His dad was toughest man back then. With seven brothers and sister all together with three left. My Anties and I love them all. My dad loved them all so much and he never stopped loving my mom Christine. And he loved all his grandkids. Mark, Sacora, Layla, Kaylee, Austin, Emily, Jay Jay, Damien. Since he passed in 2016 there’s now Bentley, Owen, Emilia, Ezra, Dominic, Dayson, Angela. He would have loved to meet them. We tell stories and can show pictures of him but it’ll never be the same. My dad had a way with people and they would listen and love to be around him. People would come from miles to just sit with him and talk work on trucks and cars. In his shop, most my life was spent watching him work on cars outside. No internet, cell games, no just good old life outside,. My dad taught me how to throw a ball like a boy, taught me everything I know, and most my cousins all lived at out house once or twice because they felt free at my dads and safe out in county:) I miss my dad everyday and glad I have the time I had with him. Still think he’s on the road on long trips waiting for him to pull up the drive in his semi-truck getting out with his checkered shirt and lunch cooler and trucker hat. Big black beard and him given me the hug sit on his lap and tell him everything that happened while he was gone. I love you dad. See u soon. - Posted by: Jennifer claeys (Only daughter ) on: May 19, 2019
