So sorry to hear this sad news about a dear friend. Nadya was so talented, so full of life and so kind. Her warmth and wisdom and readiness to laugh and enjoy life left a mark on so many -- they sure did on me. And, along with Cec Semchyshyn, she opened up a wonderful world of pride in Ukrainian roots and in the vitality of the culture. We've hardly seen each other for years, and yet she is as vivid to me as ever. Nadya is truly a great Manitoban. My sympathies to the family. Her spirit will always be with us. I was so saddened to hear of Nadya's passing. Although I have not seen her since we were teenagers, I remember fondly playing cello with her in the Manitoba Schools Orchestra and the Junior Musical Club Orchestra.
